Dear,

I do understand your concern.
It is very difficult to take care with the Leprosy disease. Of course it can be cured totally, but sometimes medicine need to be taked for longer period than 2 years. In combination with Dapsone, Rifampicine, sometimes prednisone is also prescribed. Talk about this with your doctor since your husband is showing signs of allergy as part of Leprosy symptoms.

What I would recommend you, is firstly, Please go on using the current drug without stopping it. Take in consideration the use of Prednisone also.

Secondly, as You already said Leprosy is curable, and your husband sooner or later will be cured totally, meanwhile take in consideration to make some exercise such as long walks near a park for 60 minutes a day.

Remember to eat a healthy diet, with fresh juices, fruits, vegetables and proteins. Consider 4 meals a day.

Please do not overstress. Continue taking the medication, and do not lose the following check up with your doctor.

I wish You all the best,
Dr. Eni
